The Juvederm family of dermal fillers includes Juvederm Ultra, Juvederm Ultra Plus and now Juvederm Voluma. Each of these addresses a specific concern and instantly removes years from your appearance. All contain the natural skin substance hyaluronic acid; they differ only in how the strands are linked together.
Juvederm is an excellent treatment option for:
- Deep folds
- Wrinkle correction
- Lip enhancement
- Volume augmentation of the lips
- Facial lines
- Shaping facial contours (such as chin and cheek correcting)
Juvederm Ultra remains extremely versatile and capable of restoring a fuller, more attractive appearance to the lips while minimizing early creases between the nose and chin. For deeper lines, Juvederm Ultra Plus becomes an ideal choice. Juvederm Voluma, the newest member of the family, instantly re-inflates the cheekbone area as it provides lift to the lower face.See Our Monthly Specials

No Recovery Time
Immediately after your Juvederm treatment session normal activities may be resumed. At times some temporary localized redness or swelling may occur. Cosmetics may camouflage this; ice or a cold compress also minimizes these issues.
While Botox requires time to become effective, Juvederm provides instant results. Benefits appear immediately after treatment.
Since hyaluronic acid absorbs water, wrinkles and folds continue to improve for several days after treatment with Juvederm.
In a word – yes. As with any medical treatment some side effects may occur. In the case of Juvederm the reactions tend to be extremely mild and similar to those associated with any injection – short-lived redness, swelling and the potential for bruising. These reactions to Juvederm tend to occur more about the lips than elsewhere and of course relate to the increased prominence of blood vessels in this location. Temporary lumps occasionally may be felt under the skin’s surface after Juvederm treatment; these tend to fade within several days either spontaneously or after being coaxed with light manual pressure.
Appropriate attention to detail eliminates the risk of the so-called fish lip appearance after Juvederm injection into the lips. Conservative therapy remains the key preventive factor. With injections of multiple units during one session, the likelihood of unwanted results increase. For many women treatment with one unit during an appointment remains wise.
